Being outside was awesomer.
Your other mother was nature and she oversaw your antics as you collected grass stains from running wolf wild in the yard. You and your merry gang of pint-sized misfits had more energy than a Red Bull full of cocaine and until that chaos was exhausted you weren’t allowed back in the house.
Now you’re sitting yourself to death and lusting out windows on nice days. You’re chained to a desk and locked to a screen. Your moments of commuting are your fleeting moments of fresh air.
Let’s take a recess from work and stretch our legs. Picasso wasn’t inspired by his cubical and we won’t be either. Let’s recharge our soul with some sun and make the great outdoors awesomer again.

Am I the only one whose Mom locked them out until 6pm?

In the aftermath of the assassination of President Kennedy, people from all over the world wrote to the First Family expressing their sympathy and respect.
The JFK Library recently opened a new series of condolence mail from Mrs. Kennedy’s personal papers containing many of these letters.  Bob Thorn, a thirteen-year old wrote:

"It was kind of my fault because I feel I wasn’t a good student.  My mark in American History, (in which we were studying about the government and the President) was a C… Next term I promise you I’ll get an A."
